SANOVI is a photography collection that represents dreams whitout consistency, order or meaning.
I took this pictures during the past 6 months living in Croatia.
To describe this collection I have to talk about dreams, images that emerge from within us and we realize that we only saw them when we woke up.
The same happens with these pictures, when I am completely conscious that I am here in Croatia I realize what I live and see here. I tried to explain and find their meaning through my photography.
"From Arrival to Stay: Socialization and Networking as a Form of Integration of Croatians Abroad into Croatian Society" is a project funded by the Central State Office for Croats Abroad and implemented by the Institute for Migration and Ethnic Studies (IMIN) in collaboration with the Foundation for Croatian Emigration and the Argentine Croatian Cultural Center. The project aims to promote the return and integration of Croatian emigrants and their descendants.
As part of this framework project, the Collaborative Art Project 2022 was established. Its purpose is to create a network of artists and organize exhibitions to enhance the visibility and promotion of their work.
Art is a component of culture, and the Collaborative Art Project aims to activate common spaces for people who are drawn by the opportunity to exchange experiences, feelings, and emotions about our reality and history.
When exhibited collectively, the work speaks and acts not only from artistic individuality but from artistic activity as a participant and member of Croatian, Latin American, Argentine, Chilean, Venezuelan, Mexican, Peruvian and Australian.
The following artists participate in the project:
Daniel Bengole, Ivana Castellano, Karen Beatriz Hernández Nolasco, Laura Cristina Kegalj, Darinka Edith Yvania Kihalich Sanchez, Tibor Maričević, Teodoro Mazuranic, Cristian Meza, Daniela Mihaljevic, Carla Jorgelina Modric, Marinka Neira Yuras, Federico Nicolas Nou, Alejandro Felipe Calzado, Sara Jayne Portelli, Daniel Rodríguez Kargacín, Ignacio Rivas, Valentina Romani Glavich, Jorge Luis Subiabre Matiacha, Rosamaría Solar and Santiago Vegas Pejkovic.
